Indosat Encourages Subscribers to Preserve Indonesia's Environment

Jakarta, 5 November 2014 - Indosat with WWF Indonesia (World Wide Fund for Nature) cooperated in preserving the natural environment in conjunction with the National Plants and Wildlife Day, 5th November. The cooperation was signed by President Director & CEO Indosat Alexander Rusli and Dr. Efransjah, CEO WWF Indonesia also celebrated with the act of planting trees symbolically in the Areal of Perhutani, North Tugu village in Cibulao, Puncak, Jawa Barat.

In the cooperation, Indosat encourages the subscribers to support the natural preservation program through several programs which are :

  1. The new Indosat special edition Indonesian wildlife edition voucher in 2 themes which are : Elephant and Rhinoceros
  2. Subscribers donation Program through SMS Donasi via UMB *123*50#, with donation amount : Rp. 2.000,-; Rp. 5.000,- and Rp. 10.000,-. Period: November 2014 - January 2015
  3. MyBabyTree Program: to encourage the postpaid subscribers to help the reforestation program by planting trees in conservation areas managed by WWF-Indonesia. Matrix Ooredoo subscribers who are supporting and entering the MyBabyTree program will receive coordinates (geo-tag) the location of the trees and E-Certificate through email to make it easier for the donor to memonitor the growth of the trees.   4. Reload program to conserve via elektronic voucher that will be held in conjuction with Earth Hour in the next March 2015, each of the subscribers who usually reload through electronic voucher, a part of the purchase will be donated to WWF-Indonesia.
