Encouraging the Growth of Startup Community in Indonesia

Jakarta, October 16, 2015 - Indosat Ooredoo, member of Ooredoo Group, through Ideabox startup accelerator program, cooperated with Facebook to encourage the growth of startups in Indonesia. With this partnership, the Indosat Ideabox startup will have the opportunity to sign up for Facebook FbStart program, namely the mentoring program of Facebook by utilizing its facilities and utilities. The purpose of this cooperation is that the Ideabox startups are able to learn best practices conducted by global startups to success.

Through the partnership, Ideabox startup of Indosat Ooredoo who passed and is accepted in the Facebook FbStart program will get direct guidance and other benefits worth more than $80,000 for every startup. Indosat Ooredoo also plans to bring the winner of the third day demo day of Ideabox to visit Facebook Menlo Park campus in Silicon Valley. Demo day itself is a demonstration activity after Ideabox incubation ends which lasted for 3 days and followed by all participants of Ideabox.
