Making the Idea Proposal and Coding Competition of Mobile Application for Training Children's Logic Mindset

Kids & Teen Hackathon - Indosat Ooredoo, Ooredoo Group's member, held the Kids & Teens Hackathon, the competition of making the application within a specific time for children and teens aged 6 to 15 years old. This competition of making ideas and coding is one of the 9th Indosat Ooredoo Wireless Innovation Contest (IWIC) roadshows' series.

Jakarta, October 24th, 2015 - Indosat Ooredoo, Ooredoo Group's member, held the Kids & Teens Hackathon, the competition of making the application within a specific time for children and teens aged 6 to 15 years old. This competition of making ideas and coding is one of the 9th Indosat Ooredoo Wireless Innovation Contest (IWIC) roadshows' series. The previous coding competition was held in August collaborated with Cody's App Academy.

Through this competition, we hope that children and teenagers increasingly love the programming world which is able to train them to think logically and to be a medium for the making children and teen's creation and imagination to reality into an application," said Deva Rachman, Group Head Corporate Communications of Indosat Ooredoo./p>

For this Kids & Teens Hackaton, Indosat Ooredoo collaborated with Clevio Coder Coder Camp. Clevio Coder Camp itself is a place to learn computer programming for children that uses the learning methods of SOLE (Self-Organizing Learning Environment), Games, and Team Work.

Participants can choose the category of making the idea proposal and creating applications through coding competition. The Prizes which participants have to fight for in each category is a trophy, a certificate, and the latest gadget.

IWIC presents to encourage the development of the Indonesia's young developers with the spectacular works of applications. The event is also aimed to create a digital ecosystem of Indonesia which is managed by the nation young generation itself, so the life quality will increase and stimulate the development of Indonesia.

The 9th IWIC presents several categories to be participated in, such as category Kids (Elementary School), Teens (middle and high school), College Student and Public, Developer, and a special category for women and Inbound Tourism for the making of idea proposal and applications in the field of (1) Communication, Lifestyle, Education category; (2) Multimedia & Games category; (3) Utilities categories (tools, security, apps for disable). The Participants will have a chance to win hundreds millions rupiah, Indosat Ooredoo Dompetku, and Scholarship at the Founder Institute.
