Pita Pink Application and Indosat Ooredoo's Donation for YKPI to Support Breast Cancer Care Awareness Movement in Indonesia

Mentari Pink Ribbon – Indosat Ooredoo, Ooredoo Group’s member, supported the implementation of Indosat Mentari Skechers Pink Ribbon Go Run & Go Walk which purpose was to improve healthy lifestyles through sport running and walking as one of ways to prevent breast cancer.

Jakarta, November 1st, 2015 Indosat Ooredoo, Ooredoo Group's member, supported the implementation of Indosat Mentari Skechers Pink Ribbon Go Run & Go Walk which purpose was to improve healthy lifestyles through sport running and walking as one of ways to prevent breast cancer. This joint activitiy with the Indonesia's Breast Cancer Foundation (YKPI), Indosat Ooredoo, MAP and Panasonic Beauty was a series of activities to raise public awareness, especially women, to the dangers of breast cancer with the campaign Show You Care Be Aware.

Indosat Ooredoo launched Pita Pink application, a mobile app that contained all the information about breast cancer from its prevention, treatment, early detection of breast cancer, the information of specialist hospitals and clinics to the tips on maintaining a healthy body to avoid breast cancer. Customers could download the Pita Pink application in Google Play Store™ for Android users, and through the Apps Store for iOS users.

Aside from launching the Pita Pink application, Indosat Ooredoo also issued a special SIM cards Indosat Mentari Ooredoo Pink Ribbon freely given to the participants of Go Run and Walk. Customers also could access internet.org freely with the special SIM cards. In addition, there were also special edition vouchers of Pink Ribbon which its partly selling of Rp 100 million donated to YKPI. The donation was used to support the Breast Cancer Care Awareness Movement in Indonesia through the free mobile mammograms, health care and consultation about breast cancer.

At the event location, Indosat Ooredoo provided the product sales booth of Indosat Ooredoo and the refill vouchers of Pita Pink edition and helped the participants and customers as well for the application installation of pita pink. All participants were also entertained with a Live Performance by a number of Indonesian artists. Indosat Ooredoo invited the Indosat Mentari Ooredoo Skechers Go Run & Walk's participants to share the excitement of the event through social media with hastag #IndosatPitaPink..
