Indosat Ooredoo Mendukung Pemerintah Dalam Program PJJ
Jakarta, August 29th, 2020 - Indosat Ooredoo supports every step taken by the Government of Indonesia to implement the Distance Learning (PJJ) program. Since the beginning of the pandemic Indosat Ooredoo has provided several programs that are still ongoing today and is continuously developing other programs to support the PJJ program.
Indosat Ooredoo collaborate Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia in providing special distance learning quota for students and teachers, to support PJJ activities. In addition, Indosat Ooredoo also collaborates with the Indonesian Ministry of Religion and the Association of Private Higher Education as a form of Indosat Ooredoo's concern in providing easy connectivity for online learning process.
Since the beginning of pandemic, Indosat Ooredoo has delivered initiatives to support distance learning program as follow:
- A 20% bandwidth upgrade program is granted to 56 universities and enabling access to more than 200 ip from well-known universities in Indonesia.
- Supporting the Internet Data Assistance Program to Make Learning Online Fun (Biar Rajin), by providing free internet data plan for 15,609 elementary and junior high school students in Mojokerto.
Indosat Ooredoo responds to current PJJ by providing educational telecommunications services, namely:
- IMClass Package: students can utilize 30GB smart package to study online and access to Southeast Asia's most popular online learning platforms, namely RuangGuru, Quipper, Sekolahmu.com and Rumah Belajar. IMClass also provides free access to more than 300 e-Learning platforms and official websites of universities in Indonesia.
- Pro Freedom Apps Package for participating in Online Class without worrying about quota through free access to Cisco Webex, Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
