Indosat Ooredoo's Concern to the Crash of Air Asia QZ8501

Preparing Clinic Car at Juanda Airport and Setting Up Indosat Ooredoo Peduli Post at Kubu Beach

December 31st, 2014 - Indosat Ooredoo helped the victims' evacuation of the crash of Air Asia QZ8501 with Clinic Car Indosat Ooredoo on alerted at Juanda International Airport in Surabaya, as a form of concern to the grief of the victim's family. The company also set up a post Indosat Ooredoo Peduli that provided free telephone services and Internet services using VSAT Cars at Kubu village, District Kumai, West Kotawaringin, Central Kalimantan which was close to the evacuation center at Kubu Beach.

"We are sorry about the unfortunate crash of Air Asia QZ8501. As a real form of our concerns, Indosat Ooredoo immediately formed a post of Indosat Ooredoo Peduli at Kubu Beach near the evacuation center and send Indosat Clinic Car to Surabaya to evacuate the victims. We hope the families and relatives of the victims are given fortitude over plight, "said Adrian Prasanto, Division Head of Public Relations of Indosat Ooredoo.

The post of Indosat Ooredoo Peduli at Kubu Beach which provided free telephone and Internet services was formed to facilitate the victims' families and the officers assisting the evacuation process to obtain and spread the latest information of the evacuation process' progress. In the execution, Indosat Ooredoo collaborated with its subsidiary company, Lintasarta, used Mobile VSAT which supported the satellite mobile data services at 2 Mbps speeds and completed it with WiFi Hotspot.

On the other hand, Indosat Ooredoo sent the Clinic Car which will help the delivery of the victims' corpse from the identification hospital at RS Bhayangkara to the victim home. Additionally, the Clinic Car team will provide assistance in the form of food and soft drinks for the families at the crisis center Juanda International Airport
