This Privacy Policy covers the treatment of user information, including personally identifying information, obtained by Indosat Ooredoo, including information obtained when user use Indosat Ooredoo Service provided by Indosat Ooredoo.

Indosat Ooredoo may obtain the following types of information from or concerning user or user mobile phone device, which may include information that can be used to identify user as specified below (“Personally Identifying Information”):
User Provided Information: Personally Identifying Information provided by user, such as user mobile phone number, push notification name (if applicable), billing information (if applicable) and mobile device information to Indosat Ooredoo when choosing to participate in various uses of the Indosat Ooredoo Service, such as registering as a user.
Log File Information: Information recorded when user use the Indosat Ooredoo Service and Indosat Ooredoo servers automatically record certain information that user web browser sends whenever User visit any website that can shows user interest, behavior, favorite and other info related to user. These server logs may include information such as user web request, Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser language, referring / exit pages and URLs, platform type, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed and the order of those pages, the amount of time spent on particular pages, the date and time of user request, one or more cookies that may uniquely identify user browser, location and user phone number.

Indosat Ooredoo does not collect names, emails, addresses or other contact information from its users’ mobile address book or contact lists other than the Users’ own mobile phone numbers.

If user submit Personally Identifiable Information to Indosat Ooredoo, then Indosat Ooredoo use the Personally Identifiable Information to operate, maintain, and provide to user the features and functionality of the Indosat Ooredoo Service. Indosat Ooredoo may, however, use user mobile phone number, any Personally Identifiable Information or non-personally-identifiable information without further consent for marketing, or administrative purposes. Indosat Ooredoo may use both the Personally Identifiable Information and certain non-personally-identifiable information (such as anonymous user usage data, cookies, IP addresses, browser type, clickstream data, etc.) to improve the quality and design of the Indosat Ooredoo Service and to create new features, promotions, functionality, and services by storing, tracking, and analyzing user preferences and trends.

Indosat Ooredoo may share the Personally Identifiable Information or non-personally-identifiable information with third party service providers to the extent that it is reasonably necessary to perform, improve or maintain the Indosat Ooredoo Service. Indosat Ooredoo may share non-personally-identifiable information (such as anonymous User usage data, referring / exit pages and URLs, platform types, asset views, number of clicks, etc.) with interested third-parties to assist Indosat Ooredoo in understanding more about user behavior on Indosat Ooredoo Service. Indosat Ooredoo cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information user transmits using Indosat Ooredoo Service and user do so at user own risk. Using unsecured wifi or other unprotected networks is never recommended. Once Indosat Ooredoo receives user transmission of information, Indosat Ooredoo makes commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of Indosat Ooredoo systems. However, please note that this is not a guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of Indosat Ooredoo physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. If Indosat Ooredoo learns of a security systems breach, then Indosat Ooredoo may attempt to notify user electronically so that user can take appropriate protective steps. Indosat Ooredoo may post a notice if a security breach occurs.

In the event that Indosat Ooredoo is acquired by or merged with a third party entity, Indosat Ooredoo reserve the right to transfer or assign the information Indosat Ooredoo have collected from Indosat Ooredoo users as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control. In the unlikely event of Indosat Ooredoo bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, or assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or equitable principles affecting creditors' rights generally, Indosat Ooredoo may not be able to control how user personal information is treated, transferred, or used.
